Kota Pekalongan – Meski di tengah guyuran hujan, DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Pekalongan tetap melaksanakan gerakan penghijauan dan bersih-bersih Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) di aliran Sungai Asem Binatur, Sabtu (28/01/2023).
Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Pekalongan, Agung Satria diwakili oleh Sekretaris DPC Partai Edy Supriyanto mengatakan, kegiatan ini merupakan dalam rangka memperingati HUT PDI Perjuangan ke-50.
Edy juga menyebut, PDI Perjuangan sebagai partai Politik, tidak hanya melakukan aktivitas politis, akan tetapi juga memberikan perhatian terhadap kondisi lingkungan dengan gerakan penghijauan.
“Dengan melakukan penanaman 100 pohon serta membagikan 400 pohon yang terdiri dari tanaman seperti pohon bintaro, mangga, jambu biji kristal, kita harapkan pohon ini tumbuh rindang dan udara menjadi sehat,” ungkap Edy Supriyanto.
Tak hanya melakukan penanaman pohon, Edy jugua menyebut, para kader Partai juga melaksanakan bersih-bersih aliran sungai Asem Binatur di kawasan Kelurahan Podosugih.
Sementara itu, anggota Fraksi PDI Perjuangan sekaligus Ketua PAC Pekalongan Barat, H. Saprudin menambahkan, penghijauan dan bersih sungai sangat penting. Ini agar udara di Kota Pekalongan lebih sejuk dan nyaman untuk ditinggali.
“Jadi kita ingatkan untuk seluruh kader serta masyarakat agar menjaga kebersihan sungai dan anak sungai agar anak cucu kita menikmati keindahan alam Kota Pekalongan,” tandas Saprudin.
Sebagai gerakan penghijauan, turut dilakukan pengurus DPC, PAC, Ranting se Kecamatan Barat, Baguna, Satgas dan Komunitas Juang.
